Mobile Internet Technical Architecture (MITA) introduces a conceptual model for the Mobile Internet. MITA can be considered as the first step towards the creation of a comprehensive reference model for vendor independent internet based modular service creation and management. As such, its ambitious goal can be compared with that of Intelligent Networks (IN), where Service Independent Building Blocks (SIBs) were first introduced. However, MITA is not a fixed but a developing model, and it would be important to apply it in new application development and modeling. With such an objective, MITA is a compulsory prerequisite for all those who work in advanced mobile internet service research and development.
